Respiratory Therapist Tech - Nights

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
No guarantee of hours
Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support
Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
Use equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport ventilators
Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS
No first assignments (prior assignment experience required)

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is required for this assignment
Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment

This position is ideal for experienced respiratory therapists comfortable with night shifts and managing a diverse patient population across all age groups.

It’s always 4 to 1 except hallways you might only have 3. The staff is so kind and welcoming I have nothing bad to say about them. This was my favorite assignment so far
