Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• One day per week is a shorter 6-hour day to maintain a 40-hour workweek (day varies based on scheduling needs)

Job Summary

Provide professional nursing care in a general surgery clinic setting, supporting multiple surgeons. Responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients
• Triaging new, pre-op, and post-op patients (including phone triage)
• Assisting with wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes as ordered
• Completing paperwork such as FMLA and disability forms
• Assisting providers during office procedures
• Supporting front desk with clinical issues
• Engaging patients, families, and caregivers in coordinated care

Facility Details

• Located in a medical office with 12 rooms (3 procedure rooms, 9 exam rooms)
• Fast-paced, high-traffic environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinic nursing experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Physical Demands

• Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Occasional lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
• Corrected vision and hearing within normal range

Working Conditions

• Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, bodily fluids, and other clinic-related hazards
• May require irregular hours and travel to other office locations
