Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Experience: Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience) with experience within the last year
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Clinical Experience

• IVs
• NG tubes
• PICC and central line care
• Catheter care
• Post-op surgical care for general surgery patients
• Post-op care for total knee and hip replacement, hernia repair, and colectomy

Preferred Experience

• Foleys
• IV insertion
• Telemetry
• Tube feeding
• Stroke
• Post-op care

Work Environment

• Fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Team player and self-starter
• Patient population ranges from age 18 to geriatric

Additional Notes

• Orientation is weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel
• Required certifications must be completed before start
• Scrubs: navy and black
• Unacceptable attire: casual wear and Crocs
