Travel RN position in Birmingham, Alabama
Specialty: Ortho/Surgery Post op
Shift: PM
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Call: None
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience

Unit Details

30-bed unit
Patient ratio: 6:1
Float as needed
Fast-paced surgical unit

Schedule Notes

Shift starts at 1845
Bedside shift report required

Preferred Experience

Med/Surg, orthopedics, or post-op experience

Work Environment

Strong time management, positive attitude, work ethic, attendance, quick thinking, and confidence are valued

Dress Code

Navy scrubs
No long, gel, wrapped, dipped, or fake nails
