Nursing Staff: Approximately 80 FTEs
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 5:1 RN ratio (5-6 RNs), 2-3 CNAs
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 5:1 RN ratio (5-6 RNs), 2-3 CNAs
Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1
Equipment: Welch Allyn vital monitors, basic nursing equipment
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a rehabilitation setting
Typical procedures include: IV insertion and management, Foley catheter care, post-void residuals (PVRs), bladder and bowel programs, EKG monitoring, and blood glucose testing
Specific rehab training and Functional Independence Measure (FIM) certification required upon hire

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of experience in rehabilitation nursing, including rehabilitation experience within the last year
Experience in an acute care setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience working in a rehabilitation setting
