Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Critical Care training
• Pressor medication management
• Art line management
• Critical Drip management

Unit Details

• Cardiovascular neuro ICU
• 22 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Floating may include ICC, TCU, and ICU

Clinical Skills and Experience

• Critical care training
• Pressor medication management
• Arterial line management
• Critical drip management

Common Procedures / Equipment

• Bronchoscopy
• CVC and arterial line insertion
• CRRT
• Ventilators
• MTP
• Hemospheres
• Arterial line
• Impella
• IABP
• CABG
• EVD
• TTM

Schedule

• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

Work Environment

• Flexible candidate preferred
• Must follow attendance policy and schedule commitments
• Scrub color: royal blue
