Assignment Overview

• Travel assignment in Westfield, Massachusetts
• 1 opening
• Day shift, Tuesday through Saturday
• 35 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours: every Saturday
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit / Setting

• Medical Surg / ARU
• Med/surg department
• 50-bed med surg hospital with a separate 15-bed ARU
• Primarily works on med/surg and assists on ARU each Saturday

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of med surg experience

Additional Role Details

• Covers med/surg Tuesday through Friday with occasional ARU assistance if slow
• On Saturdays, splits time between ARU and med surg
• Patient population is general medicine with a predominant geriatric population
• Common diagnoses/treatments include general debility, cardiac, GI, respiratory, and general orthopedic conditions
• EHR used: Cerner/Oracle product
