Overview
- Travel assignment in Labor and Delivery
- 6-week contract
- 48 hours per week
- Nights and days
- No call requirement
- Alternating weekends
- No RTO or special scheduling
Unit Details
- 4th floor
- 32 beds
- 150 staff
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- High-volume unit with 1,000+ deliveries per month
- Permanent positions on the unit are available
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN
- Electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
- SVE (sterile vaginal exam) competency
- C-Section circulation experience
- Rapid Response experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Previous HCA assignment/employment
- Experience in a Level IV unit
