RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Tampa, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Role Overview

The Respiratory Therapist provides timely diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients, following medical staff-approved protocols and department policies. Responsibilities include:

Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
Delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
Maintaining airways and managing ventilators
Inserting arterial lines and performing intubations
Performing pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
Registered Respiratory Therapist certification with at least 1 year of experience, with experience completed within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
