Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Facility Type: Community hospital, Joint Commission Accredited, 171 beds, Level 3 Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center


Position Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care (IMC)
  • Shift: Day shift (7 AM - 7 PM)
  • Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
  • Call Requirements: Yes
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Float Requirements: Medical Surgical and Telemetry (may float to ED for admits)
  • Patient Ratios: 1:3 or 1:4
  • Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
  • Typical Patient Diagnoses: STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG post-op day 2, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, EXLIF
  • EHR System: Medhost

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
  • Travel Experience: Required
  • Licenses: Current Registered Nurse license for Arizona
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification

Additional Information

  • Orientation is weekly
  • No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts may be considered but not guaranteed
  • Located in an area with outdoor recreation, near major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon
  • Must be willing to work call and float as needed

Contract Length

  • Approximately 13 weeks (about 3 months)
