Vascular Tech - Travel Position

Location: Rochester, New Hampshire
Facility Type: Hospital (70 beds)


Unit Information

  • Unit: Vascular Ultrasound
  • Staff: 1 vascular tech on day shift (40 hrs/week), no night shift
  • Patient Ratio: 1:1
  • Equipment: GE ultrasound machines
  • EMR System: MediTech Expanse

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification (must be registered in NH)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Medical Imaging/Radiation Therapy license for New Hampshire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

Typical Procedures

  • ABI (Ankle-Brachial Index)
  • Carotid studies
  • Renal studies
  • Aortic (AO) and Abdominal studies
  • Venous and Arterial studies (pTCO2 training provided)
  • Lower Extremity Reflux studies

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Day shift only
  • Every other weekend on-call from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Professional scrub attire required
  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage complex studies and schedules

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Additional Notes

  • No floating to other areas
  • Must be able to work in New Hampshire with appropriate state registration
