Vascular Tech - Travel Position
Location: Rochester, New Hampshire
Facility Type: Hospital (70 beds)
Unit Information
- Unit: Vascular Ultrasound
- Staff: 1 vascular tech on day shift (40 hrs/week), no night shift
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: GE ultrasound machines
- EMR System: MediTech Expanse
Required Qualifications
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification (must be registered in NH)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Medical Imaging/Radiation Therapy license for New Hampshire
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Typical Procedures
- ABI (Ankle-Brachial Index)
- Carotid studies
- Renal studies
- Aortic (AO) and Abdominal studies
- Venous and Arterial studies (pTCO2 training provided)
- Lower Extremity Reflux studies
Work Schedule & Environment
- Day shift only
- Every other weekend on-call from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Professional scrub attire required
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage complex studies and schedules
Contract Length
- 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Additional Notes
- No floating to other areas
- Must be able to work in New Hampshire with appropriate state registration
