Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Location: Tucson, Arizona

Job Description

  • Provide care to Post Anesthesia Care patients in collaboration with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other healthcare personnel.
  • Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, and hospital policies.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
  • Floating may be required as needed.

Work Schedule

  • Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • On-Call: 10-12 days of call within a 6-week schedule period

Requirements

  • Arizona RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • EMR system used: Cerner
  • Scrub color: Any color allowed

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
