Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Number of Beds: 2
• Number of Staff: 6 (RN, RTs, RCIS)
• Patient Ratio: 1 patient to 3 staff members
• Equipment: GE Table, Merge hemo documentation
• EMR System: Meditech
• Floor: 3rd Floor
• Dress Code: Scrubs in Black or Blue
• On Call: Two weekends per month
• Floating Area: Sister hospital Cath Lab

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech (highest required years of experience)
• Must have Cath Lab experience
• Able to scrub devices, left heart catheterization (LHC), and peripherals

Preferred Skills

• EP Scrub experience

Typical Procedures Performed

• Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Peripheral procedures (legs/carotids)
• EP ablations
• Pacemaker/ICD procedures
• Nephrostomy tubes
• Embolization

Certifications Required

• ACLS
• BLS
• Cath Lab Tech Certification

Additional Notes

• On call for two weekends per month
• Work primarily in a small, specialized unit with a low patient-to-staff ratio
