Unit: Blood Cancer / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)
Number of Beds: 8
Number of Staff: 15
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 1 secretary
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Equipment: Telemetry
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (Bone Marrow Transplant / Hematology)
Chemo/Biotherapy administration experience
Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience
Hematology experience

Certifications Required

ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License

Preferred Qualifications

ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse Certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Chemo/Biotherapy administration
Bone Marrow Transplant care
Blood administration
Cardiac monitoring
