Experience & Certifications

• Required Years of Experience: 2+ years in Labor & Delivery (higher value between 1+ and 2+ is 2+)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Required Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • AWHONN
  • BLS
  • HWC
  • NRP
  • PALS
• Licensure: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Tennessee

Unit & Patient Population

• Unit: Labor & Delivery (Floor 5460 (707))
• Patient Population: All ages
• EHR Systems: MedHost, Centricity Perinatal
• Facility Type: Acute care with emergency, inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatric behavioral health, and advanced wound care services

Additional Information

• Must have experience and confidence to work independently
• Professional and team player personality fit preferred
• Dress code: Any scrub color allowed; no camouflage or logo shirts/sweatshirts other than facility-approved

Compliance

• All clinical staff must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date with results required before starting.
