Registered Nurse (Neurosurgery/Neuroscience) - Travel Position

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Neurosurgery/Neuroscience
Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Unit Beds: 18
EMR System: Cerner
Float Requirements: As needed

Required Certifications

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in Neurosurgery/Neuroscience nursing

Unit & Patient Population

Care for neurosurgery and neuroscience patients
Positive attitude and good work ethic preferred

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Navy Blue
No artificial fingernails allowed

Additional Information

No call responsibilities
Focus on neuro and neurosurgery patient care
Work environment encourages a positive and professional attitude
