Job Description
Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees daily operations of laboratory personnel performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to quality control protocols, assisting with laboratory equipment maintenance, and supporting staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Shifts are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role requires coverage of two campuses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) certification with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience within the last year.
- ASCP certification.
- Experience in supervisor roles.
Additional Information
- Candidates must be able to cover multiple campuses.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Experience in a community hospital setting is relevant.
