Employment Type: Travel

Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Document patient care provided.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physicians, patients, and families.
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
Evaluate and provide patient/family education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Operate Stryker video towers for laparoscopic surgery procedures.
Position requires weekday and weekend call with a one-hour response time; may float between two facilities.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
