Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary Services, following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintaining airways and ventilator management
• Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
• Conducting pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis

Facility Requirements

• Must have NBRC RRT certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent RT experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with pediatrics and OB patients
• Must possess a Wyoming RT license
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS (must be through the American Heart Association)
• Candidates may need to float between the Lander and Riverton campuses depending on facility census

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
