Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Margate, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

• Unit: EP/CATH LAB
• Number of Beds: 2 Cath labs, 1 EP lab
• Staff Composition: Combination of RN, RCIS, RT, CVT, department assistant, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Manager
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 (3 staff per room, except VT Ablation staff with 4)
• Equipment: GE, ESI
• Documentation Systems: Meditech, MacLab
• Call Requirements: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Typical Procedures

• Pacemakers (all types)
• Ablations (all types)
• Watchman
• Cryoablation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience: Not required or specified
• Dress Code: Facility-provided scrubs
• Work Environment: Acute care setting with electrophysiology procedures
• Preferred Skills: ACLS & EKG training; experience scrubbing all electrophysiology procedures in acute care
