Job Opportunity: RN - Bone Marrow (Travel)

Location: Webster, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Blood Cancer / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)
Number of Beds: 8
Number of Staff: 15
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 1 secretary
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Equipment: Telemetry
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience within the last year
BLS Certification
ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification
Experience with chemotherapy/biotherapy administration
Experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) procedures and care

Preferred Qualifications

ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse Certification
ACLS Certification

Blood administration
Cardiac monitoring
