Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
Facility Type: 12-bed unit within a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Patient Ratio: 6:1
EHR System: Meditech
Shift Details: 36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: May float to other Med Surg units as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience within the last year
Experience working with Adult and Geriatric patients
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Dress Code: Scrubs of any color acceptable
Equipment: Standard medical equipment used
Work Environment: Med Surg unit within a fully accredited hospital with over 1,000 employees and 300 physicians
