Position Details

Licensure
- Primary source verification of professional license required (Missouri licenses verified via NURSYS)
- Temporary licenses accepted but permanent license required for extensions in Illinois
Competency Exams
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Unit-specific Competency Exam (updated annually)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required for Telemetry/Step-Down and related specialties (must be completed within 1 year of start and updated annually)
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test (N95) required and must be renewed annually
- Tdap vaccine or declination required (expires every 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Drug testing within 1 year of start, must include specific panels and be valid throughout assignment
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (09/30 - 04/01)
