Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Travel/Contract)

Location: Martin, Tennessee
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM; willing to consider 4x10 schedule (7 AM - 6 PM)
• No on-call, holidays, or weekend shifts
• Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic
• Patient Population: Primarily orthopedic cases, but may see a variety of diagnoses due to rural location
• Team Support: Strong support from an OCS Physical Therapist and 3 PT Assistants

Requirements

• Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred
• Licensure: Current Tennessee license or compact license required
• Certifications: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Charting System Experience: Preferred experience with Redoc/Net Health

Prior Travel Experience

• Not explicitly required; locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service
• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• Various background screenings including EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; TB questionnaire updated annually
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug testing: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (11/1 - 3/31); no declinations or exemptions accepted
• COVID vaccination or approved declination/exemption required
• EPIC test out required for all candidates (with limited exceptions); must pass on first attempt or contract will be cancelled
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Complete employment application/resume required
• Skills checklist required as applicable to specialty

Additional Notes

• Candidates must review and sign appearance standards prior to start
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other certifications not required for this role but may be relevant for other specialties
