Job Opportunity: LVN / LPN (Travel/Contract)
Location: Los Angeles, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: LVN / OBGYN
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Schedule: No weekend requirement, no on-call
- Float: Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs
- Local Candidates: Accepted within a 50-mile radius
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
- Pending License: Not accepted
Experience & Certification Requirements
- Years of Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as an LVN
- Minimum 1 year of OBGYN experience (higher value between specialty and overall experience applied)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required
- Required Certifications:
- California LVN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
- IV/Blood Draw Certification
- Preferred: Epic electronic health record experience
Clinical Skills Required
Experience with the following OBGYN procedures is mandatory:
- PAP smear
- Colposcopy (Coplo)
- LEEP procedure
- D&C (Dilation and Curettage)
- Endometrial Biopsy (EMB)
- IUD insertions and removals
- Nexplanon insertion/removal
- Non-Stress Test (NST)
Facility & Work Environment
- Type of Facility: Outpatient Clinic
- Charting System: Epic
- Scrub Color: Burgundy
- Parking: Free or validated
Health & Compliance Requirements
- Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions or declinations allowed
- Fit mask test within 12 months required (N95 or equivalent respirators)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start date
- Drug screening within 1 year of start date (specific drug panel required)
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Background check including 7-year criminal history and education verification
- Professional references: 2 required, including 1 supervisory
