Job Details

• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 7 days
• Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks (cancelled shifts must be regular shift length)

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• General OR and trauma experience required
• Other certifications may be required based on unit (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, PALS) – verify with unit specifics

Compliance & Background Requirements

• Government-issued ID required
• Criminal background check within 6 months, including statewide, nationwide, and international searches if applicable
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required quarterly
• Education verification of highest nursing degree required
• State-specific background checks (Missouri and Illinois) as applicable
• Fingerprinting required for Illinois long-term care or rehab assignments
• Drug testing within 1 year of start, must include a comprehensive panel and be valid throughout assignment
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask testing (N95) required and must be renewed annually
• Immunizations and titers required: Tdap, TB testing, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (with specific unit exemptions)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Various facility-specific compliance documents including HIPAA, confidentiality, latex allergy questionnaire, hand hygiene, dress code, and orientation modules

Competency Requirements

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Unit-specific competency exams, including oncology if assigned to Med Surg-Oncology
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam for certain units
• Color blindness testing within 12 months of start

• Two professional references required (supervisors within last year preferred)
• Employment application required
• Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year of start
• Must adhere to facility policies including fingernail, dress code, and hand hygiene policies
