Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Technologist

Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Qualifications & Certifications

• Graduate of a JCERT approved Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT registry required
• Additional ARRT Mammography (M) certification must be completed within 1 year of hire
• Current CPR card or completion of CPR course within 30 days of hire required
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Experience with Hologic Imaging, Hologic Stereotactic Equipment, and Quality Control knowledge preferred

Required Experience

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum standard for ARRT registry holders (typically 1+ years)

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required for ICU, ER, L&D, Cath Lab Tech, RRT (if applicable)

Compliance & Background Checks

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Must include all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
• Education verification required

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination acceptable)
• Negative TB test (2-step PPD, T-spot, or Q-Gold) within 12 months or chest X-ray if positive
• Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or proof of 2 vaccines required; no declinations/exemptions accepted
• Hepatitis B: Positive titer, 3-dose vaccine series, or declination required
• Varicella: Positive titer or proof of 2 vaccines required; no declinations/exemptions accepted
• 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start; results must be finalized before start
• Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); declinations accepted with proper waiver
• COVID-19 vaccination or facility-specific medical/religious waiver required; newest Comirnaty mRNA 2024-2025 booster required or waiver

Orientation & Training

• HealthStream modules must be completed prior to start (2-3 hours)
• Onsite fit mask test and color-blind exam conducted during orientation
• Candidate must review and sign facility-specific policies and orientation checklists prior to start

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Clear, passport-style photo for badge
• Two professional references within 3 years required
• Employment application and skills checklist required and must be updated annually
