Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift
- Schedule: 7 on/7 off nights, with shifts of 8:00p–6:30a Wed–Sat and 6:00p–6:30a Sun–Tues
Required Qualifications
- Valid Medical Lab Technician license in Louisiana
- Medical Lab Technician (2 years of experience)
- Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
- Minimum 2 years of travel experience
- ASCP or AMT
- Experience in the blood bank
Required Documents / Compliance
- Copy of photo ID
- 2 references
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM
- HHS/OIG
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Annual respirator fit testing
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire
- 12-panel drug screen within 90 days prior to start
- System access and confidentiality agreement
- Healthstream completion and glucose return demonstration before performing accuchecks/glucose testing

- Pending background checks may be accepted upon approval
- Instant drug screen may be accepted on a case-by-case basis as a placeholder
- Flu vaccination is not required for employment at this association
