Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Paintsville, Kentucky.
• 13-week contract.
• Day shift: 3x12 hours or 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30.
• 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky.
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• NIHSS.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience in a hospital setting.
• Driver's License.
• Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted.
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
• Every other weekend required.
• Float required within scope of practice.
• 2 references within 1 year of start date, with at least one from a supervisor or higher.
• 7-year work history verification.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam.
• Competency Exam within 1 year prior to start date.
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam within 1 year of start.
• Core Part I.
• Core Part II.
• Core Part III.
• Physical exam or physician note within 1 year prior to start, stating clear to work and free of restrictions.
• Fit mask completion onsite.
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years.
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start.
• Rubeola (Measles) proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer.
• Mumps proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer.
• Rubella proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer.
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination.
• Varicella proof of 2 vaccines, positive titer, or proof of history of disease.
• Drug testing within 30 days of start.
• Employment application with education and work history.
• Skills Checklist 1.
• West Virginia APS/CPS search results.
• Kentucky KY Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Registry verification.

Preferred

• State license copy, if available.

Additional Notes

• Meditech EMR.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Orientation is bi-weekly.
• Start date on the job is the start date needed.
• Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of offer.
• No RTO edits accepted once the offer has been made.
• No timecard edits accepted once the pay period closes.
