Infection Prevention

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract Registered Nurse role in Modesto, California.
• 13-week assignment.
• Day shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Infection Control experience within the last year.
• Infection Control (2 years of experience).
• ACLS.
• BLS.
• PALS.
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start.
• Background check required, including a 7-year background check within 6 months of start.
• Sex Offender Search required within 90 days of start.
• FACIS Level 3 search required within 2 weeks of start and then monthly after start.
• California Medi-Cal Search Result required if FACIS III cannot be run monthly.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required.
• HHS/OIG required.
• TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and renewed annually.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start.
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask test required within 1 year of start and renewed annually.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen required within 6 months of start.
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps.
• Work history verification required for up to 7 years of employment history.
• Unit-specific skills checklist required.
• Candidate must review and sign the job description, standards of business conduct, general regulatory orientation, vendor training, code of conduct, overpayment refund policy, and conditional offer attestation before start.

Preferred

• CIC preferred.

• BLS is not required for 100% remote employees, but this role is not listed as remote.
