Overview
- Travel/contract role in Orange, California
- Pediatric operating room setting
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Start date: 8/31 only
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Minimum call requirement: 3 weekday nights and 2 weekends per 6-week schedule
- Minimum weekend day shifts: 1–2 per 6-week schedule
- Every other weekend required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Role Details
- Pediatric OR nurse
- Break nurse duties approximately 20% of the shift in an 8-hour shift capacity
- Patient population includes ENT, urology, neuro, general, ortho, and trauma
- Inpatient and outpatient cases
