Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Creve Coeur, Missouri
Facility-based assignment in a short term acute care hospital
Unit details: MS; average daily census 14; 26 rooms; 41 beds
Contract length: 20 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
On-call required
Floating: may float within scope to the med-surg unit
Local candidates are not accepted; local radius rule is 75 miles
Pending license accepted
RTO restriction: 7 days

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Experience with orthopedic post-surgical care
Experience with plastic surgery post-surgical care
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Clinical Context

Cares for short stay orthopedic, urology, and plastics surgery patients
Orthopedic population is mostly joint replacement surgery patients

Additional Notes

Scrub color: navy scrubs (top, jacket, and bottom)
