Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Jerseyville, Illinois
• Start: ASAP
• Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• Hours per week: 48
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit: 26-bed unit with average daily census of 8
• Ratios: 1:4–6
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Illinois
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with adult patients
• Experience working with geriatric patients
• Background check within 1 year of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening annually
• HHS/OIG screening annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask required
• Negative TB or chest X-ray documentation
• Positive titer required for Rubeola (Measles)
• Positive titer required for Mumps
• Positive titer required for Rubella
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Positive titer required for Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season
• COVID vaccine, exemptions, or declinations accepted
• 2 professional references within 3 years of start
• Skills checklist required annually
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Competency exam as applicable by profession/specialty

Preferred

• ACLS
• NIHSS
• PALS

Additional Notes

• Block scheduling is not accepted
• RTO must be discussed with the manager in interview
• Cerner is the charting system
• Free parking in any unrestricted space
• Scrub color: any, but no tee shirts, sweatshirts, or logos from other organizations
