Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN

Location

Charleston, South Carolina

Assignment Details

Travel/contract role
13-week contract
Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required
Holiday rotation required
May float to all pediatric units within scope, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU
Ratios: 1:2 to 1:3
First-time travelers accepted if they have the required experience
Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis if within 60 miles

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
CVPICU experience
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Experience

ECMO
CRRT

Additional Notes

Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and is subject to unit approval
Facility may cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks
Travelers may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season
