Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Augusta, Georgia
• Day shift: 4x9 hours, varied start times
• 36 hours per week
• 14-week contract
• 5 rooms; average daily census of 18
• Patient population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics
• Locals accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Outpatient Surgery experience within the last year
• 1 year of Outpatient Surgery experience
• Experience in a PACU setting
• 1 year of operating room circulator experience in the intraoperative setting
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred / Helpful

• ACLS may be required depending on the unit description
• PALS may be required if the area accepts pediatric patients
• Rare floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Work Setting

• Specialties include Retina surgery, total hip/knees, Hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, Lap Chole, Hernia repairs, and Podiatry
• Epic and Pyxis used
• No call requirement
• Weekends: none
• RTO max: 7 days
• Spring Break blackout dates: April 4th–12th

• Scrub color provided by the facility
• May be expected to stay over based on room completion status
• Major holidays may be required depending on assignment dates
