Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Irvine, California
• Day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• California RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Copies of continuing education completed within the last 24 months
• 2 references within 1 year of start in the current specialty
• Government-issued photo ID
• Criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
• N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
• Hepatitis B series or declination
• Flu vaccination or signed declination
• Signed HIPAA acknowledgement
• Signed unit-specific job description
• Signed confidentiality agreement within 72 hours of signing
• Signed traveler acknowledgement
• Signed orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Signed epidural pain policy review
• Signed standard of care: skin care acknowledgement
• Signed UCI TB symptom review
• Signed UCI PD workplace violence prevention in healthcare acknowledgement
• Signed UCI – First Day Instructions

Additional Notes

• Signed CPI Blue Card may be required depending on the unit description
• Unit-specific competency exam is required
• Infection Control/Bloodborne Pathogens exam is required
• Medication/Calculation exam is required for RNs
• Arrhythmia Recognition Assessment is required for MS/Tele, Tele, Step Down, ER, ICU, IR, and PACU nurses
• Candidates may be required to complete EPIC modules and/or a test-out depending on assignment needs
• Housing or lodging is not mentioned
