Contract

• 13 weeks
• Local candidates only; must live within 75 miles of the facility
• Extension will not be approved

Schedule

• Night shift
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Telemetry experience

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
• Medical and religious flu exemptions are reviewed case by case
• Driver’s license and matching address documentation are required in the submission packet
• 2 references within 1 year of the start date, with at least one from a supervisor or higher
• 7-year work history verification
• Background check and education verification
• Skills checklist
• Physical exam or physician statement showing clear to work and free of restrictions
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or documentation
• Drug screening
• APS/CPS search results for West Virginia

Work Expectations

• Float required within scope of practice

• Orientation is bi-weekly
• Start date is the required start date
