Overview

Travel/contract role in New Brunswick, New Jersey
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-time travelers accepted
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

PALS
Charge experience
Experience with jet vents, oscillators, ECMO, UAC, CritiCool body cooling, and neonates received via transport

Scheduling and Unit Details

Every other weekend required
Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays, per unit needs
Candidates must float within their skillset
Floating may include Newborn, Peds, and PICU for appropriate assignments
Will not attend high-risk deliveries
Unit includes neonates 29–34 weeks and >34 weeks gestation
Ratios: 1:2 in NICU; 1:3–4 in SCN
