Radiation Oncology - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)

Job Summary

Seeking a Medical Physicist with expertise in Radiation Oncology to support a travel/contract assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Physicist in Radiation Therapy Physics
• Education: MS or PhD from a CAMPEP-accredited program
• Certification: American Board of Radiology in Radiation Therapy Physics
• Proficiency with Varian products including Truebeam (service mode), Aria, Eclipse
• Experience with Radformation and Sun Nuclear products
• Familiarity with Portal Dosimetry

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Criminal background check within 12 months, including SSN trace, 7-year county and nationwide search, sex offender search
• State-specific caregiver screening for Wisconsin candidates prior to start
• Primary source license verification for Wisconsin or Compact License (as applicable)
• OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start (fit testing completed onsite during orientation)
• Negative drug screen within 12 months of start
• TB testing: PPD, Qgold, or TSPOT within 12 months; chest X-ray within 5 years if PPD positive
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required annually during flu season
• COVID vaccination series preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required depending on unit
• Completion of facility-specific orientation modules and signed confidentiality and ethical conduct agreements prior to start
• Photo for badge (except for this specific facility)

Additional Requirements

• Completion of post-start orientation checklists during first week on assignment
• Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health (Aya standard)
• Two professional references (Aya standard)
• Skills checklist verification

Notes

• Fit testing for respirators is required annually and will be conducted onsite during orientation
• Some certifications and competencies may be required depending on unit assignment
• Candidates must complete all required compliance modules assigned through the facility’s learning management system prior to start
• Background and credentialing requirements are strictly enforced to meet facility standards
