Job Opportunity: Electrophysiology Tech

Location: Anderson, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Shift: 4x10 hour days, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional late stay until 6 or 7 PM
  • Work Setting: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Weekend Requirement: None
  • Call Requirement: No

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
  • Licensure: South Carolina state license required prior to start
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) OR CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) with RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) required per South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Required Documentation & Compliance

  • Proof of I9 or attestation
  • Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
  • Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and international background check if applicable
  • Transcript or diploma required for EP Lab professionals
  • Advanced certifications as applicable (ACLS, PALS, TNCC preferred but not required)
  • State license primary source verification and renewal compliance
  • Color blindness test (Ishihara) required
  • Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health
  • Fit mask test annually (N95 or equivalent)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as per facility policy
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • 9-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • Photo for badge (no visible nose piercing allowed)
  • Completion of facility-specific online orientation and acknowledgment
  • Proof of 2 clinical references or performance evaluation if applicable
  • Completed employment application/resume

  • No weekend or call requirements
  • Shift includes occasional late stay days
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • Facility requires timely renewal of certifications and licenses to avoid suspension or termination
