Registered Nurse - Stepdown/PCU Unit (Columbus, Ohio) - Travel/Contract

Job Overview

Work on a mixed-acuity Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) caring for adult and geriatric patients with general chronic medical conditions.
Must be comfortable working in a progressive care environment.
Floating within the organization as needed.
In-house provider support available 24/7.
Documentation system: Epic.
Medication systems: Pyxis, Accudose, Omnicell.
Communication method: SBAR.
Float and call responsibilities required.

Contract Length

13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience.
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with PCU experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
