Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Job Description

• Must be able to float within 5 hospitals within skillset.
• Return to Office (RTO) documentation required at time of submission; no late submissions accepted.
• First-time travelers accepted but not preferred.
• Olive or sage green scrubs required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in New Jersey.
• ARRT R certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician, including experience within the last year.

Licensure

• Must hold a valid ARRT R license appropriate for Radiology.

Prior Travel Experience

• Prior travel experience is not required but preferred.

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or attestation.
• Government-issued photo ID.
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation.
• Background check: 7-year criminal history, updated annually.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required.
• Physical exam within last 12 months.
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year.
• Annual TB questionnaire.
• Immunization or positive titer proof for: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
• 10-panel drug screen without THC panel within 6 months, updated annually.
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required.
• Visual acuity exam (20/40 or better).
• Latex questionnaire.
• Two professional references within last 2 years.
• Employment application and skills checklist updated annually.
• Work history verification for at least 1 year prior to start date (New Jersey candidates).

Additional Requirements

• Must complete orientation safety manual acknowledgement.
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable.
• Facility-specific documents including badge photo submission.
• Pass/fail dysrhythmia testing may be required depending on unit assignment.

Notes

• Local rate adjustments apply for candidates living within 50 miles of the facility.
• Candidates cannot start if certifications are expiring within 30 days of contract start date.

This position is ideal for Radiologic Technologists with at least 1 year of experience seeking a travel contract in New Jersey with flexibility to work across multiple hospital locations.
