Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Haymarket, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide care to patients undergoing peripheral vascular, interventional, and vascular procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care according to current policies and procedures.
• One weeknight of call and a rotation of call every 4-5 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Interventional Procedures
• At least 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Registered Technologist (RT) with ARRT certification

Additional Requirements

Background & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check within 90 days of start and updated annually (including criminal, education verification, and alias checks)
• Employment and sanction screenings within 30 days of start
• Official transcripts or diplomas as applicable for education verification
• Physical exam within 1 year of start (or within 30 days if past positive TB)
• Negative TB test (Qgold) within 30 days of start; additional requirements if past positive TB
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Fit mask (N95) certification within 1 year of start, renewed annually

Immunizations & Health Documentation

• Proof of immunity or vaccination for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (or signed declination form if applicable)
  • Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually

Competencies & Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or as applicable
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment

Documentation

• Photo for badge (passport style, business attire)
• Employment application
• Skills checklist updated annually
• Two professional references from the specialty/unit within 2 years of start

Work Schedule

• One weeknight call per week
• Call rotation every 4-5 weeks
