Job Overview
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska
- Setting: Travel/contract RN role
- Shift: Night shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekly hours: 48
- Contract length: 20 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Nebraska
- Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to float frequently within scope, including to a sister campus if needed
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays
- First-time travelers are not accepted, unless the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
- Candidate must live more than 100 miles from the facility
- Pending license is accepted; if not in hand at submission, the assignment will be booked six weeks out
- Facility is nicotine-free
- Scrubs are required
Scheduling Notes
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
- Up to 2 weeks of requested time off may be submitted with the application
Unit/Work Environment
- Travelers are assigned to a unit after confirmation based on experience
- Drips are required on all floors
- Possible units include medical-surgical, telemetry, stepdown, cardiac, neuro, trauma, oncology, observation, and progressive care areas
