Electrophysiology Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Stuart, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an Electrophysiology Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in EP lab, including Cath, IR, and EP experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The position requires on-call availability and floating within scope to three nearby hospitals (within 20 miles).

Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Hours per week: 40

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Technician experience
• Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
• Cath lab experience
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience

Additional Requirements

• Must include all requested time-off (RTO) upfront with submission; late RTO requests likely will not be approved
• Must complete time-sensitive onboarding modules by due date; modules must be completed on a computer using Google Chrome and cannot be skipped
• Floating to multiple hospital locations within 20 miles is required
• Facility uses EPIC for charting
• Facility is a teaching hospital with 521 staffed beds
• Scrub color: White
• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces

Notes

• Pass/fail testing (EKG/Pharmacology) is required only for RNs/LPNs, not applicable here
• Radiation badges will be issued to applicable candidates
• Candidates must be nicotine-free; no exceptions
• Drug screen does not need annual renewal unless expiring during contract
• Fingerprinting clearance must be completed and approved before start date; candidates cannot start with fingerprints pending

This position offers guaranteed hours of 40 per week on a 4x10 schedule with day shifts. Locals within the area are accepted at the same rate.
