Shift Details
- Night shift
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- Weekend work as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- 2 years of NICU experience with Level IV NICU training
- Certified Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Requirements
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, Sex Offender Search, and Washington State WATCH search
- Physical exam and fit mask test within 12 months of start
- Immunizations and health documentation including Tdap, TB test or chest X-ray, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccination or exemption, and COVID vaccination or declination
- Drug screening (10 panel) within one year of start (required by agency)
- Completion of facility-specific training and agreements prior to start
- EPIC electronic health record system proficiency expected (training provided)
- No on-call required
- Locals accepted
- Return-to-office restrictions: maximum 1 week

Notes
- Guaranteed hours may be adjusted based on census; providers may be called off or placed on-call in 4-hour increments up to one shift within a 2-week cycle
- Facility closed on weekends and holidays for ambulatory or surgical services; travelers will not be scheduled during these times
- Performance evaluation requested at end of assignment (Montlake location)
This position is ideal for experienced RRTs with NICU expertise seeking a travel contract in a high-acuity, teaching hospital environment with night shifts and some weekend flexibility.
