Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Location: Clinton, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery)
• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Total Hours per Week: 36

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or RQI acceptable
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required for Labor & Delivery
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or RQI acceptable
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required for some units, confirm if applicable
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required for ER (verify if needed for this role)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with recent experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NRP certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

• I9 Attestation confirming work eligibility in the US
• Missouri Family Care Safety Registry application (time sensitive)
• State-specific background checks and searches (MO FCSR and MO EDL)
• Documentation of annual OSHA and Joint Commission required in-service training
• Two or more current professional references related to nursing work within the past two years
• Skills checklist relevant to Labor and Delivery nursing
• Employment application or resume
