Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Description
- 33-bed cardiovascular care unit
- Patient population includes STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF), noninvasive ventilation, post-cardiothoracic surgery ICU patients, antiarrhythmic IV medications, peripheral vascular compromise
- Float to Med/Surg or ER to cover CVCU/Med Surg holds required
- No block scheduling; flexibility required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in Stepdown Unit (SDU)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma
- Required certifications (specific certifications not listed, but applicants without active copies may still be considered)
Additional Information
- Patient ratio approximately 1:4
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
- On-call pay provided with minimum 1-hour payout
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted terms
