Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• Adjust specialized medical equipment as needed
• Interpret and record measurements
• Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse medication reactions promptly

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience [Required]
• Recent traveler experience [Preferred] (prior travel experience not explicitly required)

Certifications & Licenses

• Current Oklahoma State Nursing License or compact license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) certification

Additional Submission Requirements

• Work history relevant to the specialty, current within 1 year
• Skills checklist pertinent to the specialty, current within 1 year
• Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years
• Candidates’ permanent address (local candidates considered at a reduced rate)

Notes

• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays

This position is ideal for RNs with at least 1 year of MS experience looking for a temporary assignment in Oklahoma. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
