Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract Length

• 12 weeks

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous Progressive Care/Stepdown experience required
• Must have 24 months (2 years) of current Stepdown / Progressive Care experience documented in work history/resume
• Must be willing to work with Med Surg and Telemetry patients in addition to PCU/Stepdown

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Illinois nursing license required at time of submission
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required (AHA or ARC)

Additional Requirements

• Skills checklist specific to Stepdown / Progressive Care discipline required
• Professional reference or performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred
• Valid driver’s license required

Job Details

• Must float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Local candidates NOT allowable; candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility
• EMR system used: EPIC
• Orientation schedule available with multiple start dates throughout the year

Prior Travel Experience

• First time travelers accepted (prior travel experience NOT required)

This position is ideal for RNs with solid Progressive Care/Stepdown experience looking for a temporary assignment in a Med Surg/Telemetry/PCU setting.
